Marriage of Heaven and Earth Qigong

Two Ways to Experience Marriage of Heaven and Earth Qigong

I’m pleased to offer two different opportunities to learn and practice Marriage of Heaven and Earth Qigong in Mamaroneck. Both are welcoming to beginners, but each has a different focus and format.

Free Four-Week Introduction at Mamaroneck Library

The Mamaroneck Library will host a free five-week introductory Qigong class.

This is a wonderful opportunity to try Qigong, experience the movements, and discover how this gentle practice feels in your body. The four-week course will introduce the basic movements and principles of Marriage of Heaven and Earth Qigong in a relaxed and welcoming group setting.

Tuesdays at 4:30 PM
October 6, 13, 20, 27 & November 3, 2026
Mamaroneck Library
Cost: Free

Because this is a shorter, introductory course offered at the library, we will not have the opportunity to explore the practice in the same depth as the longer clinic classes. The emphasis will be on learning the basics, becoming comfortable with the movements, and giving you a foundation that you can continue to explore on your own.

No previous Qigong experience is necessary.

Registration is required.

Eight-Week Qigong Classes at the Clinic

For those who would like to go deeper into the practice, I will be offering two identical eight-week series at the Ira Wahrman L.Ac Clinic.

Fall/Winter Series

Tuesdays 7:00PM, November 3 – December 22, 2026

Spring Series

Tuesdays 7:00 PM, March 9 – April 27, 2027

Cost: $240 for the eight-week series

These classes provide more time to learn, practice, refine, and understand the movements. With eight weeks together, we can move at a comfortable pace and explore the practice in greater detail.

The clinic classes are intentionally kept smaller, allowing for more individual attention. I can observe each person’s movements, offer adjustments and suggestions, answer questions, and help participants adapt the practice to their own bodies and needs.

In addition to learning the Qigong sequence, we will explore the Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective behind the movements including their relationship to the meridians, organ systems, and energetic functions of the body.

The goal is not simply to learn a series of movements, but to develop a deeper understanding of the practice and how it can become part of your life.

Which Class Is Right for You?

The free Mamaroneck Library class is a great place to start if you:

  • Are curious about Qigong and would like to try it
  • Are completely new to the practice
  • Want a gentle introduction to the basic movements
  • Prefer a shorter, introductory commitment

The eight-week clinic classes are ideal if you:

  • Want to develop a deeper understanding of Qigong
  • Would like more time to learn and refine the movements
  • Appreciate a smaller class with more individual attention
  • Want to explore the connection between Qigong and Traditional Chinese Medicine
  • Are interested in developing a regular, ongoing practice

Both offerings are designed to be gentle, accessible, and welcoming. The library class offers a wonderful introduction, while the eight-week clinic classes provide the opportunity to slow down, go deeper, and receive more individualized guidance.
